As played by David with learners
To Learn
This game is best learnt by doing three steps from the well known "school boy" game
Step 1, The schoolbay game (play 3 games on the top of the 3 x 3 paper. Aim to get 3 in a row
Step 2, 3D 3x3
Use all 3 of the matrices on one line of 3 x 3 paper. Imagine that the matrices are three sections through a cube, the bottom, centre and the top,
Aim to get 3 in a row on any level as in step 1 but there are 3 levels and 3 in a row vertically is possible using all three matrices on the rows.(or a verticle diagonal)
Play this 3 x 3 until the dominent square is found by a player.
Step 3, 3D 4x4
Start using the 4x4 matrix sheet which gets rid of the doninent square
Imagine that the matrices are four sections through a cube, the bottom, lower centre. upper centre and the top,
Aim to get 4 in a row in any direction within the cube,
